Which skin growths can be removed by CO2 laser

Before treatment
The Edge ONE treatment requires no special preparation. During the consultation, the doctor will assess what type of skin growth is involved and whether treatment with this type of laser is appropriate. If the growth is suspected to be clearly benign, the doctor may recommend removal by conventional surgery.
Course of treatment
The procedure is usually performed under local anaesthesia, which is administered in the form of a numbing injection or cream. During the procedure, the client's eyes are protected by protective goggles. The doctor then uses a laser to vaporize the growth.
After treatment
Immediately after the treatment it is possible to return to normal life. However, the treated area must be protected from sunlight, not scratched or rubbed. We do not recommend visiting a solarium or sauna during the healing period. Healing takes approximately 2 weeks and it is essential to follow the doctor's recommendations to avoid complications or side effects.
Important information
The treatment is usually a one-off, in rare cases a repeat may be necessary. After the growth falls off spontaneously, a pink area remains on the skin, which gradually fades. In most cases and with proper follow-up care, the skin heals completely without scarring.
