What is Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation (Autoaugmentation)?
Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation (Autoaugmentation) is a very gentle method with which the breasts can be enlarged by grafting the fat from your tummy, thighs, buttocks or hips and transferring it to your breasts.
It is most commonly used to fill out the upper part of the bust and create a fuller cleavage. In order to perform the procedure, it is necessary that you have sufficient fat deposits in the abdomen, thighs or buttocks.
How is breast augmentation with fat transfer performed?
Before the procedure
You will first meet with our plastic surgeon, who will explain everything about the procedure and assess the possibility of removing a sufficient amount of fatty tissue. A mammogram is also required.
During the procedure
The procedure takes approximately 60-120 minutes, is painless and completely scarless. The surgeon performs liposuction to harvest fat cells from several areas of your body as agreed during the consultation. After treating the fat cells for impurities, they are injected into different tissue layers of your breasts.
After the procedure
The treatment is very gentle, occasionally a small bruise or swelling may occur, but these are quickly absorbed. Return to normal life is possible immediately, in the first few days we recommend avoiding physical exertion and straining the pectoral muscles.
