Blepharoplasma

Eyelid wrinkles and skin excesses

The skin on the eyelids rapidly loses elasticity and thins with increasing age. Its decline can then be so great that it becomes not only an aesthetic but also a functional problem. In fact, the skin can extend into the field of vision and make it difficult to move the eyelids. This causes fatigue, excessive tearing and a feeling of permanent discomfort. Droopy eyelids can be treated either by conventional surgery or non-invasively with the PLASMATEC device, which works on the principle of fractional plasma.

Fat pronouncements

If the eye muscle and ligaments around the eyelid are relaxed, fatty prolapse occurs. These appear as bags under the eyes or in the inner corner of the upper eyelid. Since the formation of fatty prolapse is not only a matter of age but also of heredity, the bags can appear even in very young people. In the case of fatty prolapse, it is possible to remove them surgically or combine the treatment with one of the non-invasive methods designed to tighten the skin.

Circles under the eyes

Dark circles under the eyes are a very common problem. The skin around the eyes is very delicate and richly vascularized, so any changes in the eye area are quickly visible. If under-eye circles appear on rare occasions, it is usually related to lack of sleep, hydration or stress. Excessive salt consumption and vitamin A deficiency also play a role. In some cases, the main cause is increased skin pigmentation caused by microscopic leakage of tiny skin blood vessels and oxidation of red blood pigment in the eye area.

The first auxiliary step in dealing with circles under the eyes is sufficient rest, increased vitamin intake. Properly chosen cosmetics, such as those containing antioxidants and vitamin C, can also help to brighten the skin. A gentle massage of the eye area, which stimulates the lymphatic pathways, can also be effective. Gentle chemical peels can also be used to lighten pigmentation.

Wrinkles around the eyes

The eye area is very prone to wrinkles. Often these are fans, the formation of which is strongly associated with facial expressions. Hyaluronic acid is very effective here, either in the form of dermal fillers or as part of mesotherapeutic serums. Carboxytherapy, plasmatherapy, Cellec V or Ultracel treatments can also help.

Regular care of the eyelids and the eye area is extremely important, as this is the area that will quickly give away your true age. Therefore, do not hesitate to consult us on how best to care for the eye area.

Before treatment

At the consultation, the doctor will assess whether blepharoplasty treatment is suitable for you or whether a more invasive method of blepharoplasty is necessary.

Course of treatment

Depending on the needs of the skin, the doctor delivers plasma energy to the skin in different levels and modes without touching the skin. Performed with local anesthesia, the procedure takes about 30 minutes.

After treatment

Redness, itching, or swelling of the skin may occur after the procedure. All these reactions are temporary and disappear after a few hours or days. It is always necessary to take care of the skin as recommended by the treating physician.
