A minimally invasive method using the therapeutic properties of carbon dioxide administered under the skin. It causes broadening of blood vessels, stimulation of collagen production, and it causes lipolysis – meaning it can dissolve fat. Carboxytherapy is a way to stretch and rejuvenate the skin and treat a number of skin conditions.

Who is a suitable candidate for this procedure

This method is suitable for clients who need to rejuvenate their facial skin, the eyelid area, forehead, mouth corners, neck, décolletage, and the back of the hand in particular. Soft wrinkles, dark circles under the eyes, stretch marks, pigment spots, and chapped hands may be solved, too. Considering the lipolytic effect, carboxytherapy is a time-proven method used to reduce cellulite, shape problematic body areas such as the belly, hips, thighs, and double chin.

Carboxytherapy

Before the procedure

Carboxytherapy is not a demanding method. At an initial consultation, a physician shall assess your issue and recommend the number of repetitions. There are usually 5-10 sessions 1-2 times per week.

The procedure

The procedure is performed in an outpatient way without anesthesia. Non-toxic CO2 is injected into and under the skin using a fine needle. You may experience mild pain in the area of injection during the procedure. 1 session is approximately 20 minutes long.

After the procedure

Potential unpleasant feelings fade away within several minutes after the procedure. It is possible to return to everyday activities immediately. We recommend protecting the treated area from sunshine using a lotion with high SPF.

Important information

Carboxytherapy results are visible in a month and last approximately 6 months. You may repeat the procedure at any time. It is suitable to promote good results of the procedure with a healthy lifestyle. Carboxytherapy may be combined with other aesthetic-Procedures.
