For whom the operation is suitable
The procedure is ideal for women who are unhappy with the size of their breasts, and at the same time, age, pregnancy or breastfeeding have taken their toll. Especially after breastfeeding, the mammary gland can atrophy, which not only leads to a reduction in the size of the breasts, but also to the formation of empty skin sacs. Inserting an implant would make the breasts larger, but their shape would still not be satisfactory, which is why lifting is carried out at the same time.
It is recommended to perform the surgery when the woman no longer expects pregnancy and breastfeeding to affect the shape of the breast. Another reason is that breastfeeding may no longer be possible after surgery.
It is advisable to undergo the operation at the earliest six months after the end of breastfeeding, when the condition of the mammary gland is already stable.

During the consultation, the doctor will assess the condition of the breasts and the elasticity of the skin, suggest the type and size of the implant, as well as the method of insertion - under the gland, under the muscle or partially under the muscle. In preparation for surgery, you will need to undergo a mammogram and a pre-operative examination.
The course of the operation
Breast augmentation is performed under general anesthesia. The incisions are most often made from the nipple to the bra crease, so that they form an anchor shape. The surgeon first inserts the implant and then adjusts the excess skin cover. He or she repositions the breast areola as needed to give the breast a youthful and natural appearance. In the case of asymmetry, he inserts the implant in one breast and then sculpts the breast. He closes the wounds with very fine sutures to keep the resulting scars to a minimum.
After the operation
Hospitalization usually lasts 1 to 2 days, after which the client is discharged to home treatment. Stitches are usually used absorbable without the need for removal. A compression bra should be worn for 4 to 8 weeks. After approximately three weeks, we recommend pressure massage of the scars to soften them and help them mature and fade.
We recommend rest for the first week after surgery, after which you can start doing light work. It is very important to avoid straining the pectoral muscles, undesirable activities include lifting small children. It is possible to return to normal activities after about 6 weeks. The operated area should be protected from sunlight for several months. Full weight bearing of the pectoral muscles is possible in 3-6 months.
Important information
Enlarged sculpted breasts have full volume and look very nice. Over the years, however, gravity has had an effect on them and they may start to sag again. In this case, the breasts can be re-lifted.
